Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan Celebrates Foundation Day with Prominent Figures and Pledges for Continued Excellence
Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan marked its foundation day with a
grand ceremony at the Garden Campus, attended by notable academicians, staff,
and a vibrant student body, signaling a renewed commitment to academic
excellence and innovation. The event, a testament to the university's journey
towards becoming a beacon of knowledge, was graced by the presence of Professor
Dr. Saeed ul Islam, Professor Dr. Tahir, Professor Dr. Sher Afzal, along with
Registrar Hassan Khan, Director of Admissions Dr. Majid, Director ORIC Dr.
Tariq Mahmood, and Director Admin Dr. Idrees. Provost Sohail Alam and Adnan
Saeed, the President of the Employees Association, were also among the
dignitaries present.
The ceremony began with Professor Dr. Saeed ul Islam hoisting the
flag, symbolizing the start of a new chapter in the university's history of
fostering educational growth and research innovation. The cutting of the
foundation day cake in the university conference hall was a highlight,
celebrating the achievements and progress of the institution.

former Vice Chancellors of Abdul Wali Khan University, acknowledging their

the global rankings—second in Pakistan. Their leadership has not only shaped

شعبہ پشتو جامعہ عبدالولی خان مردان میں مادری زبانوں کا عالمی دن کے حوالے سیمینار کا انعقاد
جامعہ عبدالولی خان مردان شعبہ پشتو ، امور نوجوانان ضلع مردان اور پروسٹ آفیس کے زیر اہتمام مادری زبانوں کا عالمی دن کے سے ایک روزہ سیمینار کا انعقاد کیا گیا ۔ سیمینار کی صدارت حسن خان قائم مقام وائس چانسلر عبدالولی یونیورسٹی مردان نے کی ۔ مہمان خصوصی پروفیسر ڈاکٹر ہمایوں ہما تمغہ امتیاز تھے اس موقع پر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اورنگزیب خان سابق وائس چانسلر لکی مروت یونیورسٹی ، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر سعید السلام ڈائریکٹر اکیڈمکس عبدالولی خان مردان ، چیئرمین شعبہ پشتو ڈاکٹر سید ظفر اللہ بخشالی ، کالم نگار نور البشر نوید ، پروفیسر ڈاکٹرسید راشد علی ، پروفیسر فضل ستار درانی ، عمثان خان ڈائریکٹر آمور نوجواناں ضلع مردان، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر فاروق حسین چیف پراکٹر عبدالولی خان یونیورسٹی مردان ، پروفیسر فرھاد صافی چیرمین شعب صحافت ، ڈاکٹر شکریہ قادر ، نگینہ بی بی ، اسسٹنٹ پروسٹ کاظم خان دیگر شعبہ جات کے سربراہان نے شرکت ۔ اس موقع چیئرمین شعبہ پشتو نے کہا کہ ہم یونیورسٹی حکام بالا کے مشکور ہے انہوں نے شعبہ پشتو کے لئے فیس میں کمی کی اور آئندہ بھی ان کے ویژن مشن کو آگے لے جائے گے اس وقت شعبہ پشتو بی ایس پشتو ، ایم فل پشتو کی کلاسز جاری ہے ۔ دیگر مقررین نے کہا کہ پشتو ہماری مادری زبان ہے اور ان کی ترقی و ترویج ہمارا فرض ہے تمام سرکاری و نجی اداروں میں پشتو بطور لازمی مضمون ہونا چاہیے ۔ ایک قرارداد کے ذریعے کہا گیا خیبرپختونخوا کے دیگر جامعات میں شعبہ پشتو کا قیام عمل میں لایا جائے ۔ عنقریب شعبہ پشتو سے طلباء کے نیوز لیٹر جاری ہوگا ۔ سیمینار میں کثیر تعداد میں شعراء ، ادباء اہل قلم دیگر شخصیات اور بی ایس اور ایم فل کے طلباء و طالبات نے کثیر تعداد شرکت کی۔
