Terms & Conditions

1. Applicants shall apply only through the online job portal available at http://jobs.awkum.edu.pk on or before October 30, 2026. Applications submitted through any other mode shall not be accepted.
2. It shall be the sole responsibility of the applicants to ensure that they have filled in all the required fields of the online application form and uploaded all relevant documents. No column of the application form shall be left blank. Postal address, landline/mobile numbers, and a valid email address must be clearly mentioned.
3. All information and documents must be submitted by the closing date. No additional claim, record, or document shall be entertained at any subsequent stage.
4. All fresh appointments shall be made under the Contributory Provident Fund (CP Fund) policy of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, except those who are already serving against a pensionable BPS post and were eligible for pension in their previous regular service.
5. Applicants serving in Government, Semi-Government, and Autonomous Bodies shall apply through proper channel and submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC)/permission from their parent organization.
6. The upper age limit may be relaxed, upon request of the applicant, on a case-to-case basis in accordance with the University’s applicable Age Relaxation Rules.
7. Any notification/clarification of Higher Education Commission, Islamabad adopted through prescribed procedure shall be applicable on the advertisement.
8. Applicants are strictly advised to upload only valid and authentic documents. Any document found ambiguous, fake, or forged shall lead to rejection of the application and may also entail legal action. Furthermore, any deficiency/concealment/misrepresentation of facts by any candidate at any stage will lead to disqualification.
9. Applicants holding foreign degrees/certificates must provide an Equivalency Certificate from the Higher Education Commission (HEC)/Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC), Islamabad, before the closing date.
10. Degrees, diplomas, or certificates in languages other than English must be accompanied by an officially verified English translation, duly submitted before the closing date.
11. Applicants shall submit an official percentage certificate issued by the Controller of Examinations or the relevant issuing authority of the awarding University/Institution, where transcripts/DMCs do not explicitly mention percentage marks.
12. In the case of semester system, a CGPA of 3.00/4.00 shall be considered equivalent to First Division.
13. Experience shall be counted only if supported by an Experience Certificate duly issued by the HR/Establishment Section or equivalent department/section of the concerned University/Institution.
14. Distinction marks shall be awarded only upon the provision of an authentic certificate/document issued by the Controller of Examinations or equivalent issuing authority of the concerned University/Institution.
15. In the case of research publications, applicants must provide complete bibliographic details including the title of the paper, author(s), name of journal, ISSN number, volume number, and date of publication. Only those publications shall be considered which are recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Islamabad. Publications with incomplete or ambiguous details shall not be accepted.
16. In case of Research projects, applicants must provide valid award letter as Principal Investigator, duly certified by the Competent Authority.
17. A non-refundable application processing fee of Rs. 2,000/- shall be deposited through e-challan in University account Bank of Khyber, Mardan. A copy of the deposited challan must be uploaded on the job portal.
18. Authentic copies of all academic transcripts, degrees, certificates, experience certificates, CNIC, research papers/publications, and a recent passport-size photograph must be uploaded with the application. Original documents will be required at the time of interview.
19. Eligibility in all respects shall be determined strictly as of the closing date of the advertisement.
20. Only eligible shortlisted applicants shall be called for interview.
21. The selected applicants shall be governed by the Statutes, Rules, Regulations, and policies of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan as amended from time to time.
22. The University reserves the right to withhold the appointment against any advertised post, or reject any/all applications without assigning any reason.
