Important Notification: Transport Admission for Fall Semester 2023 - 2024

 

It is notified for the information of all concerned that Fall Semester 2023-2024 is starting from September 01, 2023 and the students desirous to avail AWKUM Transport Facility should login to their UMS account for fresh registration in route buses.

Registration will start from 1^st September 2023.

The students already registered in the previous semester 2022-2023 will make sure for new registration at Transport Section to avail transport facility.

A Collaborative Session on Student Support Services Held at AWKUM with USAID HESSA Team

 

A collaborative session took place at AWKUM on August 22, 2023, involving the HESSA (Higher Education System Strengthening Activity) team from USAID and officials from AWKUM. The purpose of the meeting was to address various aspects of the Student Support Services Component. The key attendees of the session included:

During the session, participants engaged in discussions covering six primary focal areas. The discussions encompassed post-summit activities, the strategies devised by AWKUM during the summit, the process of updating and finalizing details within the Airtable system, identification of indicators for the six focal areas, procedures for monitoring and reporting progress, as well as the formulation of an activities plan designed to enhance Student Support Services from October 2023 to August 2024. Additionally, the meeting emphasized the significance of an Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) plan with a particular focus on disability-related aspects.

Following the productive discussions with AWKUM officials, Ms. Asma Mohsin, the Manager of the HESSA Program, engaged in an in-depth conversation with the respected Vice-Chancellor, AWKUM, Prof. Dr. Zahoor Ul Haq. The conversation centered around AWKUM's strategic plan for Student Support Services.

As a gesture of appreciation, the Honorable Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Zahoor Ul Haq, presented a commendation shield to Ms. Asma Mohsin, acknowledging her outstanding contributions to the HESSA Program.

This collaborative session provided a platform for meaningful exchanges and paved the way for further progress in enhancing Student Support Services within AWKUM.

 مردان ۔ عبدالولی خان یونیورسٹی مردان نے افغانستان کے طالبات کے لئے داخلوں میں 50 فل فنڈنگ سکالرشپ (وظائف) کا اعلان کیا ہے جو کہ انٹر FSc FA یونیورسٹی کالج فار وومن اور انڈر گریجویٹ سطح پر ہیں اس سلسلے میں ایک اہم سطح کا اجلاس 7واں بورڈ اف مینجمنٹ سٹوڈنٹ ویلفیئر انڈومنٹ فنڈ وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر ظہور الحق کی سربراہی میں منعقد ہوا اجلاس میں ڈائریکٹر فنانس ڈاکٹر شائستہ ارشاد،ڈائریکٹر ایڈمیشن ڈاکٹر ماجد،ڈپٹی ڈائریکٹر فنانس افضال ہمایون اور دیگر موجود تھے اجلاس میں متفقہ طور پر افغانستان کے طالبات کے لیے عبدالولی خان یونیورسٹی مردان اس سال فال سمسٹر 2023 میں 50 سکالرشپس دینے کا فیصلہ کیا ہے جس میں طالبات کی سیمسٹر فیس چارج نہیں کی جائے گی وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر ظہور الحق نے اس موقع پر کہا کہ افغان طالبات کے لیے فری ایجوکیشن، اور سکالر شپس کے حصول کا سنہری موقع ہے عبدالولی خان یونیورسٹی طالبات کے روشن مستقبل کے لیے پرعزم اور کوشاں ہے۔سکالرشپس کے حصول کے لیے موقع سے فاٸدہ اٹھاٸیں اور آخری تاریخ سے پہلے ہر صورت میں اپلاٸ کریں ۔یاد رہے عبدالولی خان یونیورسٹی مردان میں پہلے ہی ہر پانچواں طالب علم سکالرشپ پر ہے اور 2 ہزار سے زائد سکالرشپ موجود ہیں افغان طالبات کے اسکالرشپس میں ٹرانسپورٹیشن اور ہاسٹل کی سہولت موجود نہیں ہے

AWKUM Dominates National Disaster Management Expo with Top Achievements in Arts Competition

AWKUM Proving Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan  “The Home of High Achievers” by Achieving Top Positions at Such a Big Level.

National Disaster Management Authority-NDMA organized a PHOTOGRAPHY and SHORT FILMS Competition at Pakistan EXPO for Disaster Risk Reduction 2023 (PEDRR-23) at Pak China Friendship Center,Islamabad on August 16-18, 2023. 

Ex-Prime Minister Pakistan and Speaker National Assembly Mr.Raja Parvez Ashraf was the Chief Guest of the event. He appreciated the Art Works and efforts of the organizing team. 

More than 500 Arts works were submitted to the EXPO to Participate in Art Competition across Pakistan.

Its an Immense pleasure for us to announce that Mr. Saud Afridi Student of PCA-AWKUM secured Top position in Short Film Category And Mr.M Ibrahim Student of PCA-AWKUM secured 3rd Position in Photography Category. 

At the end of the event Chief Guest distributed Awards and Prize money to the Winners.
