The interviews will now be conducted on October 1, 2025, at the Office of the Dean, Faculty of Physical and Numerical Sciences.

Terms & Conditions:

1. Candidates are required to bring original academic documents, CV and a set of attested photocopies of educational certificates/degree, experience certificates, CNIC and a recent passport size photograph.
2. Interview/demonstration of the eligible candidates will be held on October 24, 2022, at 10:00AM in meeting room, at AWKUM Timergara Campus
3. Candidates with higher qualification will be given preferences.
4. Candidates having foreign degrees/certificates must provide equivalency certificate from HEC/PEC/IBCC Islamabad.
5. Incomplete applications and those received after due date will not be entertained.
6. Remuneration will be made as per existing rules approved by Syndicate of the university.
7. No TA/DA will be paid for interview/demonstration.

Department of Computer Science at Timergara Campus Organised a Youth Festival

The Department of Computer Science at Timergara Campus in Abdul Wali Khan University organised a Youth Festival to provide youth a platform where they can show their talent. The main activities of the festival were Research Workshop, Quiz Competition, Essay Competition, Book Meela, Project Exhibition, Idea Exhibition and E-gaming Competition. Students from all the departments especially from the department of Computer Science participated in the event. Mr. Hassan Raza, a CS student, won the Essay Competition. Quiz competition was won by the students from Computer Science department. National speaker Mr. Inam Ullah Khan (Lecturer & Chief Organizer) briefed the students about writing a research proposal and scientific research paper. Miss Bisma Khan (Incbatee at IM Durshal) gave a brief insight about personality grooming. Mr. Pir Ahmad Ali Shah, Project Coordinator (Durshal, Mardan- KPITB) guided the students about upcoming projects of Durshal/KPITB and evaluated students’ Final Year Projects. Mr. Abdur Rasheed, Project Coordinator (Durshal, Swat- KPITB) and faculty members including Mr. Ishtiaq Wahid (Focal Person, Department of Computer Science), Dr. Masood Khan, Mr. Hammad Khan, Mr. Sheraz Muhammad Khan and Mr. Arjuman Yar Khan also attended the event.

AWKUM Timergara Campus Organized a Conference on “Information-Communication Technologies, Enhanced Social & Management Sciences (CICTSM)”

A one-day in-house research conference was held on October 23, 2019 at Timergara Campus, AWKUM. This event was organized by the Department of Computer Science. On this occasion Prof. Dr. Aurangzeb Khan- Dean Faculty of Physical & Numerical Sciences, Mr. Muhammad Bashir Khan (Member National Assembly) and Mr. Minhaj-ud-din- Coordinator were the Chief Guests. While Mr. Ishtiaq Wahid (General Chair, CICTSM), Dr. Masood Ahmad (Co-Chair, CICTSM), Mr. Arjumand Yar Khan, Mr. Arshad Ali, Mr. Ajmal Khan, Mr. Sheraz Muhammad Khan (Session Chair), Mr. Noor Hassan, Mr. Hamad Khan, Mr. Rizwan Ullah, Mr. Alam Zeb (Session Chair), Mr. Israr Ullah (Lecturer), Mr. Imran Ullah (Lecturer) and faculty members from Garden Campus i.e. Dr. Izaz ur Rehman, Dr. Muhammad Zakarya, and Dr. Rahim Khan also attended the conference. Some national and international Guest Speakers- Bisma Khan (IM Durshal), Dr. Israr Ullah (Assistant Professor, Virtual University) and Dr. Muhammad Fayaz (Assistant Professor, UCA’s School of Arts and Sciences, Russia) joined this event via video conference. Students from different campuses presented their ideas in front of session chairs. Prof. Dr. Aurangzeb Khan appreciated the efforts of Mr. Inam Ullah Khan (Lecturer & Conference Chair). He said that this conference is the stepping stone for the beginning of a new academic era for the students of AWKUM. At the end, the honorable Dean distributed the shields among the faculty members and students.
