AWKUM and SI-UK Pakistan Sign MoU to Enhance Educational Opportunities in the UK
On
August 27, 2024, Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (AWKUM) and SI-UK Pakistan
signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at expanding educational opportunities
for students. This partnership will provide a range of services and benefits
designed to help AWKUM students pursue higher education in the United Kingdom.
Under
the terms of the MoU, SI-UK Pakistan will offer free consultancy services and
career counselling to assist students in navigating their academic and
professional journeys toward studying in the UK. Additionally, SI-UK will
provide partial scholarships to students currently pursuing their studies at
AWKUM, easing the financial burden on these students.
Moreover,
SI-UK Pakistan has committed to sponsoring various student events at AWKUM,
fostering a vibrant academic environment and encouraging student engagement in
international educational opportunities.
This
collaboration marks a significant step forward in AWKUM's mission to offer its
students access to global educational resources and opportunities.
AWKUM
and SI-UK Pakistan are confident that this partnership will empower students
with the necessary guidance and support to pursue their academic goals
internationally, thereby enhancing the overall quality of education and career
prospects for AWKUM students.

Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC) at AWKUM
facilitated the entire process of the MoU.
