IBL, AWKUM organized “Orientation Session for new students”

 

The Institute of Business Studies & Leadership (IBL), Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (AWKUM) organized “Orientation Session for new students” at IBL on November 07, 2022.

 

Students and faculty of IBL participated in the event. The main purpose of the event was to brief the new students on semester rules, scholarships, code of conduct, Library information and sports facilities.  Mr. Shah Husain Awan provided information about IBL and its programs. Dr. Ihtisham Khan conducted detailed presentation regarding the semester rules.

In his concluding remarks, the Chief Guest, Dr. Mohammad Jehangir (Director IBL, AWKUM) appreciated the efforts of the organizers for organizing an important orientation session for the students.  He advised new students to follow the University rules in true spirit. He extended his full support for providing academic and co-curricular environment for learning and grooming.

In the end, the chief guest distributed shields and certificates to admission committee for their excellent performance during the admission process Fall, 2022

CDC in collaboration with QEC AWKUM, organized a session on “THE Impact Ranking Methodology”

 

The Career Development and University Advancement Cell in collaboration with Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan, organized a session on “THE Impact Ranking Methodology” on October 24, 2022 at Conference Hall, Garden Campus. The session was attended by Heads of Departments and concerned Heads of Sections.

Dr. Jehangir Khan, University of Malakand conducted the session as resource person. He briefed the participants regarding the methodology of Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Ranking. The session was completely interactive. The event was facilitated by Dr. Beenish Khurshid (Deputy Director, CDAC) and Mr. Shah Hussain Awan (Deputy Director QEC). In the end, Dr. Shaista Irshad Khan, Director (CDAC) and Director QEC, Mr. Sayim Sohail presented the shield to the resource person.

One day seminar on “Islamic Banking & Finance” Conducted at IBL

 

The Institute of Business Studies & Leadership (IBL) in collaboration with Center for Excellence in Islamic Finance (CEIF), IMSCIENCES Peshawar organized one day seminar on October 20, 2022 at IBL Hall on “Islamic Banking & Finance”.  The students and faculty were given brief presentation on various aspects of Islamic banking.

The session was started with a recitation from the Holy Quran. Mr. Adnan Malik, Industry Chair, Center of Excellence for Islamic Finance (CEIF), Institute of Management Sciences Peshawar along with Dr. Arif Hussain, Assistant Professor, IBL welcomed the participants. 

Mr. Mohsin Zafar and Mufti Usman from Bank Alfalah were invited as guest speakers. The event was facilitated by Dr. Arif Hussain and Mr. Shah Hussain Awan at IBL. In the end, brief question answer session was held. The guest speakers addressed all the questions.

The Business Incubation Center AWKUM organized a one day Orientation Session

 

The Business Incubation Center AWKUM organized a one day Orientation Session for new startups in the second week of October, 2022.  The main purpose of the session of the was to brief the new startups regarding the incubation process.

The startups were given detailed presentation about the process of incubation, role and benefits of business incubation center. The session was conducted by Coordinator BIC AWKUM Mr. Shah Hussain Awan. In the end Dr. Mohammad Jehangir, Director Business Incubation Center AWKUM congratulates all the startups for being part of the Business Incubation Center. He assured full support from the University for the facilitation of incubation process for the newly registered startups.
