Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Irshadullah at University of Johannesburg

Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Irshadullah, Assistant Professor of Education has received a Post Doctoral Research Fellowship at the Faculty of Education University of Johannesburg South Africa. He has joined the Post Doctoral Research Fellowship under the Supervision of Prof. Dr. Juliet Perumal in February 2019. Along with his research work he has attended the following Research activities:

·         Attend a Meeting with Prof. Sandra Russo & Dr. Matt Mitterko from University of Florida to discuss “Online Programs” at B-Ring 310A University of Johannesburg, Auckland Park Campus South Africa on February 25, 2019 under the Chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Juliet Perumal.

·    Attend a Presentation of “Two Research Papers” under the Chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Michal Cross on 21^st February 2019 at Ali Mazrui Centre for Higher Education Studies in the University of Johannesburg, Auckland Park Campus, South Africa.

·    Attend a Public Lecture on “Another Industrial Revolution? What does it Mean for Civic Skills, Values and the School Curriculum?” By Prof. Kerry Kennedy on 19^th February 2019 at University of Johannesburg, Auckland Park Camus, South Africa.

·    Attend a Group Discussion on “Concept Paper” under the Chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Michal Cross on 8^th February 2019 at Ali Mazrui Centre for Higher Education Studies in the University of Johannesburg, Auckland Park Camus, South Africa.

 In all these research activities Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Irshadullah has participated actively.

Position Vacant "Research Assistant at Department of Biotechnology"

Applications are invited for the appointment of following position at Department of Biotechnology, AWKUM, under Research Project No. 9868/KPK/NRPU/R&D/HEC/2017 sponsored by HEC entitled “CRISPR-Cas9 based genome engineering of Saccharomyces cerevisiae for the production of biochemicals with special emphasis on biofuels using locally produced sugar cane molasses as a carbon and energy source”

Terms and condition:

1. The above position is on project fund basis and will not be liable for extention.
2. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
3. The AWKUM reserve the right to accept or reject any application without assigning any reason. 
4. Less than 3.00/4.00 CGPA will be considered as second division.

11th Foundation Day of AWKUM, Celebrated at Main Campus

On Monday 25th February, 2019 the 11th foundation day of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan, was celebrated at Main Campus. The ceremony started with the recitation of Holy Quran. The coordinator, Faculty/Staff members and students attended the ceremony. National anthem and university anthem was played followed by speeches from the Chairmen of the Departments and Coordinator of the Main Campus. In the end, Mr. Syed Ali Shah, Coordinator Main Campus stated that AWKUM has made its presence felt in the area within a short span of time and the day is not far distant that AWKUM will be counted among the top universities of the country.
