Career Counseling and Placement Center (CCPC) Organizes Interactive Session for Law and Criminology Students

The Career Counseling and Placement Center (CCPC), Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (AWKUM), organized an interactive session for the students of the Department of Law and BS Criminology with the Director General, Prosecution, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and his team. The interactive session was held at the Directorate General of Prosecution in Peshawar.

Mr. Muhammad Rafiq Khan Mohmand, Director General, Directorate of Prosecution, chaired the session and also served as the discussant. The session was moderated by Dr. Muhammad Bilal, Director of the Career Counseling and Placement Center (CCPC), AWKUM. Ms. Sahibzadi Yasmeen Ara, Director Admin, Mr. Fazali Noorani, Director Legal, and Mr. Zeeshan Ullah Afridi, Director Monitoring, also accompanied the DG Prosecution and actively participated in the session. Dr. Syed Raza Shah Gillani from the Department of Law, students of Law and Criminology, and the CCPC team were also present on the occasion.

During the interactive session, the Director General, Prosecution, KP, and members of his team provided detailed insights into the prosecution process, legal proceedings, responsibilities of prosecution authorities, and other relevant legal matters. The speakers also highlighted the practical dimensions of legal practice and the professional competencies required for students aspiring to pursue careers in the legal and criminal justice sectors. The students actively participated in the discussion and engaged with the officials through questions and observations. The interactive exchange provided an opportunity for students to relate their academic knowledge to the practical realities of the legal and prosecution system.

Dr. Muhammad Bilal, Director, CCPC, emphasized the importance of meaningful engagement between academia and professional institutions. He noted that such initiatives provide students with valuable professional exposure and contribute significantly to their career development and preparedness for the workplace.

AWKUM Places 20 Students as Interns at NCHD Mardan

 

The Career Counseling and Placement Center (CCPC) of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (AWKUM) has placed 20 students as interns at the National Commission for Human Development (NCHD), Mardan Office, for a one-month internship program.

During the internship, the students will be involved and contribute to community development initiatives, including awareness campaigns, educational support, and community engagement activities under the guidance of NCHD professionals.

This collaboration reflects AWKUM's commitment to providing students with practical learning opportunities that enhance their professional skills, social responsibility, and career readiness. The University appreciates NCHD Mardan for partnering in this valuable initiative and looks forward to strengthening future collaborations that empower students through experiential learning.

Career Counseling and Placement Center, AWKUM, Facilitates 103 Students for ISPR Summer Internship 2026

 

The Career Counseling and Placement Center (CCPC) at Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan has successfully facilitated the placement of 103 students in the ISPR Summer Internship 2026 program.

The internship is being conducted from July 29 to September 04, 2026, at Army Public School and College for Boys, Warsak Road, Peshawar Cantt. It provides students with valuable practical exposure, professional skills, and a better understanding of workplace culture and ethics.

This initiative reflects CCPC's commitment to creating meaningful learning opportunities beyond the classroom by bridging the gap between academic learning and professional practice. The participating students, representing various academic disciplines at AWKUM, will benefit from hands-on experience, mentorship, teamwork, communication, and leadership development.

CCPC-Team makes every possible effort to promote the Honorable Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Jamil Ahmad’s vision of bridging university-industry linkages and expanding internship opportunities for students. AWKUM Students Participate in Indus Ras Expo 2026: Robotics and Autonomous Systems

 

The Career Counseling and Placement Center (CCPC) facilitated the participation of students from the Departments of Computer Science and Physics at Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (AWKUM) in the Indus Robotics and Autonomous Systems (RAS) Expo 2026, held at the Pak-China Friendship Centre, Islamabad.

The two-day national expo, organized by Ignite – National Technology Fund under the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication (MoITT), in collaboration with the National Centre of Robotics and Automation (NCRA) and the NUST College of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering (E&ME). brought together universities, researchers, startups, industry leaders, policymakers, and technology professionals from across Pakistan to showcase innovations in robotics, artificial intelligence, autonomous systems, drone technology, and industrial automation.

The students were accompanied by the CCPC team, including the Director, Dr. Muhammad Bilal, and Assistant Directors Usman Shamroz and Hazrat Bilal. During the visit, the students explored cutting-edge technologies, interacted with researchers, entrepreneurs, and industry experts, and gained valuable insights into the latest developments in robotics and artificial intelligence. The visit provided an excellent platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and fostering stronger industry–academia collaboration. It also reflected the vision of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Jamil Ahmad, to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and professional competencies required to excel in an increasingly technology-driven and globally interconnected world, thereby enhancing their career readiness and future employability.
