The Career Counseling
and Placement Centre (CCPC), Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan
(AWKUM), in collaboration with the British Council, organized an
informative session on “UK Higher Education, Scholarships & Study
Opportunities”.
Dr. Muhammad Bilal, Director CCPC,
welcomed participants and highlighted the importance of providing students with
accurate, timely information about international education opportunities.
Mr. Usman Khalid, Senior Manager,
Higher Education Mobility, British Council, served as
the resource person and delivered a comprehensive presentation
on the UK higher education system, available scholarships, admission
requirements, and study opportunities. He also shared valuable guidance
on exploring suitable academic programs and
funding opportunities, encouraging students to consider the UK
as a destination for quality higher education and professional
development. The session was followed by an interactive
discussion, during which participants had the opportunity to ask
questions and seek guidance on pursuing their studies in
the UK.
The session concluded with
remarks by Dr. Tahir, Associate Professor, Department
of Microbiology, AWKUM, who appreciated the initiative and
emphasized the importance of such sessions in guiding students
toward international educational opportunities.
