AWKUM Students Complete Two-Month Summer Internship with NCHD
Students of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan have successfully completed a comprehensive two-month summer internship program with the National Commission for Human Development (NCHD). In this context, a certificate distribution ceremony was held at the Garden Campus of AWKUM.
Honorable Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Jamil Ahmad graced the ceremony as the chief guest. Mr. Lal Muhammad Khan, Deputy Director/District Head of NCHD, along with his team were also present. Dr. Muhammad Bilal, Director, Career Counseling and Placement Center, along with his team facilitated the ceremony.
In his remarks, the Honorable Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Jamil Ahmad expressed that student internships are an important part of the academic journey that leads to a skillful career ahead. He suggested that students should join small jobs within the university, such as working in the library, transport section, security, and other sections, to learn about office operations. He added that this can provide some earnings and encouragement to students.
At the end, the Vice Chancellor and Mr. Lal Muhammad Khan distributed certificates among the students who successfully completed their two-month internship with NCHD. The Vice Chancellor also presented an appreciation certificate to the head of NCHD.
