The Students of the Department of Geology AWKUM Participated in Research Paper Contest

The students of the Department of Geology AWKUM participated in Research Paper Contest organized by Pakistan Association of Petroleum Geoscientist at the Annual Technical Symposium & Exhibition, November 19-20, 2019 at Serena Hotel Islamabad and their research paper titled " Dolomitization mechanism based on Petrography and Geochemistry of Devonian Shogram Formation, Chitral valley, Karakuram Ranges Pakistan" secured 1st Position among 150 students/Presenters across Pakistan. There Research Work was supervised by Lecturer Emad Ullah Khan.

Seven M.Phil Scholars Of Department of Microbiology Have Successfully Defended The Thesis

M.Phil Scholars Redaina, Famanullah (Supervisor Dr. Muhsin Jamal), Asma Qudrat, Uroosa Irum, Sidra Zeb, Adil Khaliq (Supervisor Dr. Hazir Rahman), Najmul Hassan (Supervisor Dr. Zia ur Rahman) of Department of Microbiology have successfully defended the thesis. 

Dr. Muhammad Tahir and Muhammad Zeb, Department of Physics, Published a Research Paper

Dr. Muhammad Tahir and his PhD student, Muhammad Zeb, of the Department of Physics has published a research paper in Crystals titled "Amplified Spontaneous Emission and Optical Gain in Organic Single Crystal Quinquethiophene". The impact factor of the journal is 2.061.

Mr. Saeedul Haq a PhD Scholar of the Department of Islamic Studies won Presidential Seerat Award for the Year 2019

Saeed ul haq jadoon PhD scholar (Supervisee of Dr. Salihuddin) at Abdul wali Khan university Mardan has been nominated for presidential award for writing of Research paper in competition seerah (PBUH) 2019, under the ministry of religious affairs and interfaith Harmony Islamabad.

The Award was presented to Him on behalf of the worthy President of Pakistan by the Foreign Special Guest Dr. Abdul Samad Sheikh the Vice President Alcazar University Egypt on November 10, 2019 in Islamabad.

Worth mentioning here, that Mr. Saeedhul Haq Jadoon is the author of 9 books and has published 20 Research papers in HEC Recognized journals as well.

He has presented his 9 Research papers in national and international conferences. 

In a reply to the Question of a Journalist in the event, Mr. Saeedul Haq told “All the credit goes to the Department of Islamic Studies and AWKUM, because I was nothing without the helping hands of my teachers and the Conducive environment of Research at AWKUM”.

All the Faculty members of the Department of Islamic studies congratulated him and prayed for further Success in His future undertakings.
