Research Associate Vacancy – Sociology Department Research Project

Applications are invited for the following position in the research project entitled “Social Capital and Women’s Climate Resilience: A Comparative Analysis of Women’s Adaptive Capacity in Gansu Province and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa”, awarded to Dr. Muhammad Bilal, Lecturer, Department of Sociology, Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan, by the National Social Science Fund of China.

1	Research Associate (01)	The candidate must have an MPhil/MS degree in Sociology/Anthropology/Gender Studies (with 1st division or 3.00 CGPA out of 4.00 CGPA) from an HEC-recognized institution/university and be currently enrolled in, or ready to be enrolled in, a PhD Sociology program at AWKUM. The candidate should have no third division and no more than two second divisions throughout their academic career. Preference will be given to: Individuals having experience in fieldwork, data collection and qualitative data analysis. Females with a research background/interest in women-related studies.	18 Months	Rs: 20000/- per month (All inclusive)

✎ Terms & Conditions for Application

1. The above position is on a project fund basis for 18 months and will not be liable for extension after completion of the mentioned period, and there will be no financial liability on the part of AWKUM.
2. Only short-listed eligible candidates will be called for an interview.
3. The scrutiny and selection committee of the project reserves the right to accept or reject any application without assigning any reason.
4. Less than 3.00/4.00 CGPA will be considered second division.
