The Business
Incubation Center (BIC) Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (AWKUM) has planned
to visit the Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI)
Islamabad and Gadoon Industrial Estate in the month of December, 2021 for
strengthening entrepreneurial networking & collaboration. The objective of
the exposure visits was to create opportunities for the students and staff to
interact with business community to learn through their experiences and grow
their network for future career opportunities.
During the visit
to FPCCI, The Chief Coordinator Mr. Abdur Rehman briefed the students on the
objectives of the FPCCI. He highlighted the success story of entrepreneurs
listed with FPCCI.
In Gadoon
Industrial Estate, The Chief Coordinator Mr. Javaid Zaman briefed the students
on various companies located in the Estate. The students were facilitated
during the visits to Saif Textile Mills, SM steel Mills and PM steel Mills. The
students took keen interest during their visit to various industries and learnt
practical elements what they studied during theory.
