The Institute
of Business Studies & Leadership (IBL) in collaboration with Empowerment
through Creative Integration (ECI) Islamabad organized a one week Campus
Engagement Program Activities on Social Action Drives (SDAs) on June 30-July
7th 2021 at IBL AWKUM. The students were
given 2 days training of Civic Education and Social Action Drives. The main purpose of the training was to teach
the students how to analyze the problem in their campus/ communities and design
Social Action Drive around the identified problem.
A cricket match
was organized on the 3rd day between the junior and senior students of the IBL.
On the fourth day, an Art Competition was organized. Various groups were formed
among the students of IBL. The groups were guided and mentored by a senior expert
on the themes of harmony, peace, pluralism, tolerance, and co-existence. The
students performed well on all the themes of the event. Dr. Mohammad Jehangir
distributed certificates along with shields among students.
An
internship/job fair was organized on the last two days in the IBL building for
the final year students. Around 12 companies participated in the fair. Students
were offered internships & placements by these organizations.
Dr. Mohammad
Jehangir (Director IBL) as a chief guest on the occasion congratulated the
event organizers Mr. Shah Hussain Awan (Lecturer IBL) and Haris Ali Dar (ECI)
for organizing a successful event for students. He further congratulated
student organizers for participating in the event.
