The students of
BS MLT program visited the National Institute of Health, Islamabad. The
students had the opportunity to learn about different sections of NIH,
dedicated for addressing National Health challenges.
The main
highlight of the visit was the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC).
The students were briefed about the Integrated Disease Surveillance and
Response system (IDSR), used to manage public health response to epidemics,
outbreaks of viral diseases, and emerging infections.
