Interview for Admission into MBA 1.5 , MS and PhD
All those applicants who have
applied for Admission into MBA 1.5, MS and PhD in Management Sciences to
Institute of Business Studies and Leadership (IBL) AWKUM and have passed the
NTS Test for their respective admission programs (NTS General for MBA1.5 and
MS) (NTS Subject Test for PhD) are hereby advised and directed to appear in
person for Admission Interview on February 06, 2020 at IBL, AWKUM as follow;
MBA 1.5 and MS
10:00 AM
PhD
11:00 AM
All applicants are also advised to
bring all academic documents with a photocopied set of documents duly attested,
three passport size photographs, proof of NTS test result, online bank
receipt for admission and domicile certificate.

IBL Students Successfully Defended Their Thesis viva Exam
Nine MS and Five MBA (1.5) scholars from
Institute of Business Studies & Leadership (IBL) AWKUM successfully
defended their thesis viva exam on December 27, 2019.
The scholars included Ms. Uzma Saleem, Ms.
Rabia Raheed, Ms. Hina Qayyum, Ms. Khadija Naveed, Mr. Muhammad Imran, Mr. Hazrat
Muammad, Mr. Abdul Majid, Mr. Mukharif Shah, Mr. Amir Iqbal, Mr. Luqman Shah,
Mr. Kashif Zaman, Mr. Mohammad Naeem Khan, Mr. Rahat Jan and Mr. Ali Raza.
External examiners from various universities
including Dr. Shams Ur Rehman (Northern University), Dr. Murad Ali (University
of Malakand), Dr. Shams ur Rehman (IBMS
Agriculture University Peshawar), Dr. Mehboob (IM Studies Peshawar), Dr.
Nazim Ali (University of Malakand), Dr. Amir
Nadeem (City University), Dr. Mohammad Yasir (Bacha Khan University), Dr.
Naveed Hussain Shah (University of Swabi) , Dr. Alam Rehman (NUML), Dr. Owais
Mufti (IM Sciences), Dr. Sabeehullah (IBMS Agriculture) and Dr. Maqsood Haider
(FATA University Kohat) evaluated and
recommended the scholars for the award of MS degree in Management Sciences.
Special thanks to Prof. Dr. Qadar Baloch (Director IBL) for his leading role
in expediting the research competition and arranging their viva exams
frequently. It was only possible by consistent follow-up and push of Director
IBL. It is very appreciating to note that Dr. Baloch, since holding the charge
of Director, pushed all the stakeholders to facilitate successful competition
of the pending research since 2013. During the last 3 years, IBL could
successfully rolled-out it's over 200 MS/MBA researchers to their successful
end.

Durshal KPIT Board for an opening of the 2nd cohort and Gender Inclusive spaces
at IBl. Where the coordinator Durshal mardan Pir Amad hold the entire session
and Ms Gullalie Anum khan faculty IBL brief the students about entrepreneurship
and business development process.

Mr. Arif Hussain, Assistant Professor, Institute of Business Studies and Leadership (IBL) Has Successfully Defended his PhD Thesis
Mr. Arif Hussain, Assistant
Professor, Institute of Business Studies and Leadership (IBL) has successfully
defended his PhD thesis in public defense held in Islamia College Peshawar, and
qualified for the award of doctorate degree. He did his research on “The Impact
of Corporate Disclosures and Risk Management on the Performance of Banks in
Pakistan” under the supervision of Dr. Shahid Jan Kakakhel, Chairman Management
Sciences, Islamia College Peshawar. Dr. Shams Urehman of IBMS (University of
Agriculture-Peshawar), served as his external examiner. The public defense was
attended by a large number of faculty members, industry and students.
