AWKUM Conducts Fifth Day of Faculty Training on Blackboard LMS at Timergarah Campus

Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (AWKUM) successfully conducted the fifth day of faculty training on the Blackboard Learning Management System (LMS) at its Timergarah Campus, as part of the University’s ongoing digital transformation initiative.

The training program was organized by the University’s ERP Cell following the acquisition of the Blackboard LMS from the Higher Education Commission (HEC) under the ERP framework. The initiative aims to strengthen digital teaching, learning, and assessment practices in line with contemporary academic standards.

Faculty members from various academic departments actively participated in the training sessions, which focused on course creation and management, online teaching tools, assessment mechanisms, grading systems, and strategies to enhance student engagement through the Blackboard platform.

The University administration acknowledged and appreciated the support and cooperation of the competent authority, Deans, Heads of Departments, faculty members, IT Team, campus administration, Meeting Section, and the Offices of the Registrar and Treasurer for ensuring the smooth and successful conduct of the training program.

Special appreciation was extended to the Coordinator, Timergarah Campus, Dr. Minhaj Ud Din, and the Deputy Director IT, Mr. Arshad Ali, for their valuable coordination and technical support.

AWKUM Conducts First Day of Faculty Training on Blackboard LMS

Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (AWKUM) conducted the first day of faculty training on the Blackboard Learning Management System (LMS) at the Central Library Conference Hall, Garden Campus.

The training program was organized by the University’s ERP Cell following the acquisition of the Blackboard LMS from the Higher Education Commission (HEC) under the ERP framework. The initiative is aimed at strengthening digital teaching, learning, and assessment practices in line with contemporary academic standards.

Faculty members representing various academic departments participated in the training sessions, which focused on course creation and management, online teaching tools, assessment mechanisms, and strategies for enhancing student engagement through the Blackboard platform.

The University administration acknowledged and appreciated the support of the competent authority, Deans, Heads of Departments, faculty members, IT Team, Central Library administration, meeting Section, and the Registrar and Treasurer Offices for their cooperation in ensuring the successful and smooth conduct of the training program.

Further training sessions will be conducted as per the approved schedule.
