Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan established
MoU with Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences (PIEAS). Prof.
Dr. Aurangzeb Khan,Dean Faculty of Physical and Numerical Sciences, AWKUM
and Prof. Dr. Naseem Irfan, Dean, Faculty of Engineering, PIEAS signed
the MoU.
This MoU was made possible due to sincere
efforts of Dr. Gul Rooh, Associate Professor, Department of Physics. Dr. Ejaz
Ahmad, Chairman Department of Physics and Dr. Hazir Rahman, Director ORIC AWKUM
were also present. Both the HEI's reiterated the importance of research and
stressed that excellence in research may be achieved by sharing knowledge and
expertise in the greater interest of the masses. The mutual collaboration will
be helpful for searching student’s placement and internship opportunities, and joint
research resources utilization for the future augmentation of R &D activities.
