The QEC Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (AWKUM) in collaboration
with Higher Education Archives & Library Department (HED) KP has organized
one day seminar/consultation session for QEC coordinators/Focal persons on
April 18, 2019 11 am in the Conference Hall, Garden Campus. Director Quality Assurance from HED KP Mr.
Imran Ullah Khan Marwat and various coordinators of affiliated colleges attended
the seminar. The purpose of this meeting was to establish Quality Assurance
Cells in the affiliated colleges.
Director QEC, Prof. Dr. Waheed Murad welcomed participants and
thanked them for sparing time to attend the meeting. He informed participants
that the purpose of the meeting is to assess quality of education at colleges
affiliated with AWKUM. Deputy Director QEC Mr. Shah Hussain Awan gave a
detailed presentation on the role and functions of QEC. Director QA, HED also
briefed the participants regarding HED support for bringing improvement in
quality of education. He also apprised that this meeting aimed to initiate a
consultative process with colleges and how to move forward.
