MCB Bank Conducts On-Campus Recruitment Drive at Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan
The
Career Development Center (CDC), in collaboration with the Institute of
Business Studies & Leadership (IBL) at Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan
(AWKUM), successfully organized an on-campus recruitment drive in partnership
with MCB Bank on May 20, 2025 at IBL.
The
primary objective of this initiative was to prepare graduating students for
batch hiring and various lateral hiring opportunities. The recruitment drive
featured a comprehensive session and interview process led by Mr. Muhammad
Imran Mansoor (Department Head, Talent Acquisition) and Ms. Sadia Saifullah
(Unit Head, Talent Acquisition North) from MCB Bank. The visiting team
evaluated students’ alignment with career opportunities at MCB and engaged in
discussions to guide them toward successful career pathways.
In
recognition of the students’ talent and potential, MCB Bank extended
approximately 20 summer internship offers to selected candidates. The visiting
officials commended the CDC and IBL teams for their excellent coordination and
hospitality.
Director
IBL, Dr. Ihtisham Khan, and Director CDC, Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan,
expressed their gratitude to MCB Bank for its commitment to merit-based
recruitment and its support in identifying and nurturing emerging talent.
As
a gesture of appreciation, the MCB team presented souvenirs to Prof. Dr.
Mohammad Azam (Dean, Faculty of Business & Economics), Dr. Ihtisham Khan
(Director, IBL), Director CDC, and Mr. Ismael Afzal (Lecturer, IBL) in
recognition of their support and collaboration in organizing the event.
This
recruitment drive follows the success of the recently held Grand Career Fair,
organized by the CDC and stands as a testament to the Center’s ongoing efforts
to enhance the career readiness of AWKUM graduates.
