Mr. Saeedul Haq a PhD Scholar of the Department of Islamic Studies won Presidential Seerat Award for the Year 2019

Saeed ul haq jadoon PhD scholar (Supervisee of Dr. Salihuddin) at Abdul wali Khan university Mardan has been nominated for presidential award for writing of Research paper in competition seerah (PBUH) 2019, under the ministry of religious affairs and interfaith Harmony Islamabad.

The Award was presented to Him on behalf of the worthy President of Pakistan by the Foreign Special Guest Dr. Abdul Samad Sheikh the Vice President Alcazar University Egypt on November 10, 2019 in Islamabad.

Worth mentioning here, that Mr. Saeedhul Haq Jadoon is the author of 9 books and has published 20 Research papers in HEC Recognized journals as well.

He has presented his 9 Research papers in national and international conferences. 

In a reply to the Question of a Journalist in the event, Mr. Saeedul Haq told “All the credit goes to the Department of Islamic Studies and AWKUM, because I was nothing without the helping hands of my teachers and the Conducive environment of Research at AWKUM”.

All the Faculty members of the Department of Islamic studies congratulated him and prayed for further Success in His future undertakings.

All those candidates who have applied for the admission in PhD/MPhil Islamic Studies and have cleared GAT-Special Test held on February 10, 2019 at Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan or have already passed valid GAT-Subject Test (For PhD) and GAT-General Test (For MPhil), are directed to appear for interview before the GSC on February 18, 2019  (10:30 am) at the office of the chairperson, Department of Islamic Studies, (Garden Campus) Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan. Please bring your original documents, CNIC and photo   along with a set of photocopies of the same documents.

All those candidates who got 70 marks in PhD admission departmental test held on October 02, 2018 or 60 marks in NTS-GAT-Subject (Islamic Studies) and 60 marks in MPhil Admission Departmental Test held on October 02, 2018 or 50 marks in NTS-GAT-General, are informed to appear before GSC for interview scheduled to be held on October 09, 2018 (2:00 pm) at Dean faculty of Arts office, PCA block, Garden Campus, AWKUM.

Dr. Saeed-ur-Rahman Assistant Professor, Department of Islamic Studies, AWKUM has published a book named "Majallat-e-Islamiyat (National Directory of Islamic Studies Research Journals)". The book discusses the importance & significance of Research Journals & other Scholarly & Literary Periodicals in the light of quotations & expressions of 100+ subject experts of the Indo-Pak. The detailed updated Directory presents  Category-wise names, ISSN,  Year of Issuance, Indexing Agencies, Name of Editors, Department/University or other Concerned Organization, Website/ Official Link (s), Contact Details, Title Images and other useful information about 30 HEC Recognized Research Journals (XYZ Categories) and 10 HEC Patterned Research Journals which will facilitate the Faculty members and Research Scholars of Islamic Studies to access them easily for paper publishing, reading,  referencing or other scholarly purposes. At the end of the book detailed guidelines for researchers regarding publishing of Articles and submission of papers to research journals are also given. The book comprises of 200 pages which is published by Al-Ilm Publications Peshawar.
